Remember ironically watching things like the Thanksgiving parade? This shitty mid-00s hipster does. This little 2-pager is still very comforting to me, a reminder of holidays spent in the kitchen and living room.
Thinking of unusual cranberry sauce combinations, I present my "Thankgiving Leftover Waffle" recipe. Take a waffle (ideally a cornmeal waffle, but any somewhat savory waffle will do), spread pesto on the waffle, lay down slices of jellied cranberry sauce to cover the waffle, then put pieces of leftover turkey on top of the cranberry sauce.
breaking my chronic comment reluctance (eight years late no less) to say that yes, i think either canned or fresh cranberry sauce could go quite well in oatmeal

Did Marigold just put an entire can of cranberry sauce directly in her oatmeal?
