I love all these panels of Hanna, and that the girls have to do a sleepover together in her 90s-ass room. Just a fond favorite for me. Did I sell this page? Does someone have it on their wall? I miss it, I should call it.
Oh man, The Shaggs were an insane idea of a band; a father dreamt that his daughters would form a band, so he took them out of school and stage-fathered them until they recorded an album. Somehow, despite months of practice and “playing local events”, they still lack the rudimentary musical skill to play in unison or tune their instruments. Incredible naive art. The line between cruel sneering superiority and genuine awe at such a thing happening and leaving evidence of its existence. https://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-shaggs-mn0000418794
