Eve's arm action in the final panel haunts me. What was I afraid of - the elbow touching the edge of the panel border? It's a challenge I admit. One that is made more difficult by pencilling on paper. My secret is I switched to digital pencils a few years later, and it gave me the freedom to commit more softly to these layouts, take more chances. I'm left-handed, so every guess by pencil is a smudge.

I know this was sort of moved away from later on, but I really like the way the white outlines look when black hair/objects are separated from black background, not just in these panels but in the Dumbo panels, too.
