This moment seems to stick out for people for what it represents visually. At the time biking really did help me manage anxiety, and it did feel like something to slice through, to get to the other side of.
Unsure if intentional, but I love the symbolism of bikes as security/freedom throughout the comic.. considering one of the first arcs we see has Eve’s bike getting stolen, and her overcompensation resulting in an even graver invasion of privacy (getting robbed). Nice little full circle moment in the reclamation of the bike, and a big turning point for Eve as well
