#149 – growing pains

Pain in one's wisdom teeth seems like a very early-20s thing to experience. Mine cut through and stopped hurting, and to this day they remain. Eve's line in the last panel is, again, an antiquated reference to Facebook culture in the mid-00s.

  1. My wisdom teeth (only two of them) didn't come out until I was 36. They just never caused me pain, so it never occurred to me to do it, lol

  2. What a dickwad!

It's good that I'm enough into my 20s that I know that I don't know as much as I thought I knew, right? It's good that I'm more of an Eve than a Park, right?

    1. Heck yes…*always* be more Eve than Park
      #goals 😉

  3. I think my lower wisdom teeth were pulled during the summer between my first and second years of college, so I was 18. Thankfully it was early enough in the summer that I had completely recovered by the time classes resumed.

Uppers were pulled on Winter Break when I was 23…I think I was still on soft food for another couple of days when classes resumed.

  4. I love how all of the character dynamics remained so consistent. I don't mean that they all stayed the same, obviously not, but rather that their progressions seemed so…good…and believable. That's hard stuff, character development over the course of ten years is hard.

  5. It's kind of audacious for Park to make a move like this knowing how they left things.
