Mar's sweater in this story is meant to betray any sort of confident detachment she's trying to exude, but the posing hopefully does a better job of that. Was she THIS close to avoiding disaster in panel 5? That was my first impulse when rereading this. But then again she might've heard the sound of the wind as an invitation to join them, so does it matter who invited her?
