So begins one of the most popular OP stories ever! I have kind of a Frank Grimes theory about that - it encapsulates a lot of what we've seen about the characters so far, from an outsider's perspective. Everyone loves meta commentary on an established world. The second theory would be that a lot of people have had this guy on their couch.
I wish I'd established the panels a bit wider in this one, really made it seem like a quiet early morning. Showing the close-ups brings us in more than I like!
