The origin of the courtly/Courtney love joke was a conversation I had with (friend of the pod) David McGuire a year or two before. Eve's peeling off the beer label originates from every beer bottle I've ever touched.

Back when Coke came in glass bottles with foam labels, I used to peel them. The goal was to remove the whole thing in one continuous strand.
