#492 – guys

I wish I'd had more funny drunk/stoned moments littered around OP. I was always juggling story with spontaneity, especially in this era where things were moving along irreversibly.

  1. Marigold being 100% serious with her suggestion always kills me.

  2. "Oh, oh! We were JUST there!" To me this is so much more self-infantilizing and naive than Marigold's "Gasp! I knew a thing!" in response to thinking she identified Larry's tattoo a while back, which I actually thought was cute and funny. To me this is Eve at her worst–not when she didn't give Park a clear answer right away about moving with him, which was a unilateral decision that he sprang on her with a tight timeline.

It's interesting what grates on people.

  4. I think in my 3rd read of OP I still had this major issue with Hanna and her feelings about the protest when earlier in the comic she seemed to be the type to be in support of these sort of changes (topless in the park arc). But I'm not really from the States and have a hard time knowing what OWS was about. First world issues seem a world away from me (or two) as someone in the Third World.

Overtime I've come to realize that some people tend to be selective in what they fought for, but it's still a glaring issue for me with Hanna.
