Octopus Pie is an internet comic about 2 young women living in Brooklyn, New York. It began in spring of 2007 and is updated with new comics every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It was once drawn on a Mac with a Wacom Cintiq and e-frontier's Manga Studio Debut. Now it is drawn on paper with brushes and pens; toning and text are still done in Manga Studio.
The comic is created by Meredith Gran. She is 24 years old and has a BFA in animation from the School of Visual Arts. You can contact her at punkybird [AT] gmail [DOT] com. Meredith often takes quite a while to respond to e-mails, but she almost always does, so bear with her.

05 grocery misconductOlly needs a new ad campaign, and Eve is just the girl to be forced into running it. As usual our hero takes the path of least sincerity. Let's see how that works out.
06 natural phenomenonJust what's up with Eve's love life? And why is she so damn turned off by rocks?
07 skate or don'tIn true holiday form, the kids put their feet to the ice. Broken butts and hidden talents ensue. First (and last, to date) appearance of America Jones.
08 our brooklynian lifeEve finds a little parrot and decides to help it. The resulting attention is somewhat unexpected.
09 tagEve is haunted by friendships of the past, just as they begin to collide with her present-day life. Subcultures face off -- is there any mature way to settle this?
10 renaissance unfairHanna recruits her most gullible buddies for a weekend at the Ren Faire. She actually thought this would be a good idea.
