#288 – local hero

Ahh this one's so dumb. "Local hero" stickers were a popular thing in Western Mass, where I'd lived not long before. There's absolutely no recognition at all. But local foods were a popular thing in hippie towns at the time, so I guess it's fine. Just a lot of effort on my part. Huff!

      You can juuuust make out Will handing her a slip of paper in the preceding panel.
