San Diego COMIC CON!
Comic Con: basically a force of nature, right? If you know about it, you probably know I’ll be there.
This is my 10th consecutive year at Comic Con – I’ve been going since Jr. year of high school – and I guess something about that feels significant. It could just be that 10 is an attractive number. Perhaps it’s the realization that I’ve spent 40% of my life flying in metal tubes to weird, heavily air-conditioned nerd gatherings. Or maybe it’s just the knowledge that I’ve been doing this comics thing for so long, and I’m still completely into it.
In case for whatever reason you don’t know what to do with yourself at Comic Con, I suggest stopping by my booth — the Dumbrella booth! — at #1337.
I will have books to sign, prints, glassware, T-shirts, and the occasional smile. Come early if you’d like shot glasses – I’m down to a very limited supply.
I will also be on the Dumbrella panel on Thursday, answering questions and stuff:
11:30-12:30 Dumbrella Artists from Dumbrella, one of the most popular online comic collectives, discuss webcomics, independent publishing, and subverting popular culture. Feel free to quiz Andrew Bell (The Creatures in my Head), Meredith Gran (Octopus Pie), Jon Rosenberg (Goats), Richard Stevens III (Diesel Sweeties), and Chris Yates (Chris Yates Studios) about anything your Internet heart desires. Room 3
Travel safe, and I hope to see you there!

I hope to see some video on this. I found your work only a few weeks ago and LOVE it. I’m jumping back into catooning after a nearlu 15 year abstinance. I’m doing it digitally. So watching some of your videos on Manga Studio have helped me. It’s also helped me rethink my format from comic book style to horizontal sunday comic layout.
