So I discovered OP a few days ago via QC. This is how far I've gotten in that time and I feel the need to comment. (Apparently so did everybody else – I haven't seen the comments go past 3 pages and all of a sudden this has 10.)

Victor reminds me of Chauncey Gardner from Being There. If you haven't seen Being There and you liked this storyline, do yourself a favor and watch it.
