I just noticed the ‘UPS’ note in the first panel… Perhaps number 302 is in the habit of writing his ‘3’s like ‘2’s – just in case he ever looks out that peephole and sees a delivery guy with an NYPD escort =)

I think it might have to do with the mondegreen of “There’s a bad moon on the rise/There’s a bathroom on the right.” In any case, Creedence is great.
